Juliana joined Avenues in August 2019, bringing over a decade of experience in international school counseling and school administration. After attending international schools in the United Kingdom, Luxembourg and Brazil, she earned a BA in psychology from the University of Virginia, an MA in international education from the School for International Training in Vermont and is currently pursuing a second master's degree in education, more specifically in international school counseling. Juliana has also presented at multiple education-related conferences. Her true passion lies in supporting families and students through the admissions process.
Esther first joined Avenues São Paulo in 2019 as a language specialist in the Primary Division. Previously, she taught ESL (English as a Second Language) and served as a head teacher in classrooms across the world, including in China, South Korea, the United States and Brazil.
Born in Brazil to Korean parents, Esther's multicultural upbringing and experiences living abroad have led her to embrace the richness of diversity. She is thrilled to be joining the admissions team, where she aims to support families and students in cultivating an even deeper appreciation for the world’s vast tapestry of cultures.
