Our innovative program for children from 18 months to 2 years old is the joyful first step of the Avenues learning journey. Taught by expert faculty, Small World provides an enriching first school experience based on language immersion in English, hands-on learning, and the fostering of agency and autonomy.

The Avenues World Elements (AWE) define the knowledge, skills, and qualities that every Avenues student develops on their journey from early childhood through graduation. From empathy to entrepreneurship, creativity to classic works, AWE defines both what and how students learn at Avenues.
ADMISSIONS DETAILS
Enrolling in Small World
Small World is a half-day program offered from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We offer Small World 1s for 18-month-olds and Small World 2s for two-year-olds.
Students entering Small World 1s must have turned 18 months old by February 28 of their year of entry. Students entering Small World 2s must have turned 2 years old by August 31 of their year of entry.
