How can students build a sense of belonging, contribute to their community, and understand the impact of their everyday choices?
At Avenues, students from 1st to 5th grade engage in Project-Based Learning (PBL), where they explore ideas across different subjects and learn through inquiry and collaboration. In The Journey to Belonging, students investigate what makes a positive learning environment and how their choices about materials, consumption, and waste affect the community around them.
This is your opportunity to:
- See how PBL comes to life from 1st to 5th grade
- Discover how students connect belonging, collaboration, and sustainability through an inquiry-based project
- Hear directly from our educators and students about their learning experiences
- Ask your questions about how Avenues nurtures curiosity and prepares children for a changing world
Event schedule:
08:30–09:00 a.m. – Welcome coffee, catered specially for this day
09:00–09:20 a.m. – Presentation with Avenues academic and leadership teams
09:25–09:45 a.m. – Student showcase with Avenues students
09:45–10:00 a.m. – Q&A session
10:00–10:30 a.m. – Campus tours led by student ambassadors
