How do young students build confidence, communication, and a sense of belonging as part of their daily learning experience? At Avenues,
Flag Time is a core practice in our lower primary classrooms. In this daily moment, students share their ideas, reflect on their experiences, and engage with their peers, building confidence, strengthening communication, and developing a sense of community from an early age.
In this session, you will:
- Observe a live classroom moment and see how Flag Time happens in practice
- Understand how this approach supports student voice, confidence, and community
- Reflect on the learning process and engage in a guided discussion
- Ask your questions about Avenues and our approach
