New School of Thought Institute

At Avenues São Paulo’s New School of Thought Institute (NSTI) Conference, nursery–12th grade educators and practitioners can examine and develop student-centered learning practices that lead to purpose-driven work.
Whether you teach in a public or independent school, are a school leader or administrator, specialize in technology, media, athletics, or the arts, or simply share our burning desire to better understand transformative learning, NSTI is for you.
This year's theme is Human-Centered Education in a Changing World.
The rise of large language models and deepening divisions across cultures and borders have made certain questions, long familiar to thoughtful educators, feel increasingly urgent: What's worth learning? What should schools be doing? What does it mean to be human? .
We will discuss these questions together by looking at examples of experiential and social learning in action, building a reflective community, and discovering practical tools and models you can bring back to your own work.
Webinar | Practical Strategies for Managing Adolescent Behavior in the Classroom September 10 | 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Take the first step into the NSTI 2026 learning journey. In this webinar, we’ll explore how adolescent development can shape classroom behavior and share practical approaches that support high expectations, mutual respect, and meaningful learning. This free session will be held in Portuguese.
