Flag Time at Avenues
Designed for Early Childhood students, this initiative values both individualized learning and peer collaboration. During the sessions, each child is encouraged to recognize their interests and challenges while engaging in activities that strengthen autonomy and essential skills for independent learning.
Studies conducted by Avenues São Paulo revealed that students participating in Flag Time made significant progress in cognitive, emotional, motivational, and pro-social regulation areas. In just six months, these children demonstrated remarkable growth, highlighting the effectiveness of the practice in supporting both academic and personal success.
To further expand its benefits, Avenues, in partnership with other Nord Anglia schools, is exploring ways to adapt Flag Time to different contexts and student profiles. The goal is to ensure that the practice remains effective and relevant, fostering the development of essential skills for student autonomy and success across diverse educational settings.
