HOW DID THE READ FESTIVAL START?
The READ Festival started at Avenues São Paulo in May 2022 as a celebration of Brazilian literature in the context of the 100th anniversary of the Semana de Arte Moderna. During a whole week, students and faculty take part in specific activities on campus and welcome special guest speakers according to what they have been working on in the classroom. This year, they joined forces with the Avenues Parent Association to wrap up the festival with an open day on Saturday when we will open the doors of our campus to everyone interested in literature!
Please note that this schedule is not final and is subject to change.
FOOD
Food trucks and our school café will offer a variety of delicious dishes, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, including options for restrictive diets.
PARKING
We recommend using Uber or taxi, as we are expecting a crowd!
If you choose to drive, paid parking is available at Cidade Jardim Corporate Center at Av. Magalhães de Castro, 4800, right after Shopping Cidade Jardim. There will be vans going to and from Avenues São Paulo every 5 minutes.
Due to capacity restrictions, parking on campus will be available only to Avenues colleagues.
