Brenda Velázquez is a psychologist with more than 13 years of experience working with teenagers. Born in the United States and raised in Mexico, she has lived in Brazil for over a decade. Since joining Avenues in 2019, Brenda has been dedicated to supporting students’ emotional well-being and guiding them as they reflect on their academic and personal paths after high school.

Her work is driven by a passion for helping young people discover their strengths, interests, and aspirations, fostering both personal growth and future readiness. Brenda is also the proud mother of Amanda, a joyful Avenues student.
