Jon Lomberg
Multimedia Artist and Design Director for NASA’s Voyager Golden Record
Jon Lomberg was the Design Director for NASA's Voyager Golden Record, designing the image and sound sequences on that legendary project. He is also one of the world's most distinguished artists inspired by astronomy. He specializes in designing and executing visual presentations about astronomy in all media, including exhibit design, film and television, computer graphic, print and electronic media. In addition to creating his own art, he has managed and led teams of artists and technicians on major projects using sophisticated image technology.
Will Lidwell
Chief Research and Development Officer, Avenues The World School
William Lidwell is the chief research and development officer at Avenues. Will began his career as a systems designer and consultant for NASA, specializing in cockpit automation and astronaut training. He is author of several books, including the best-selling Universal Principles of Design, which has been translated into more than 20 languages, and The Elements of Education book series. In addition to Will’s literary contributions, he holds a diverse array of patents, ranging from coffee table and eyeglass frame designs to advanced methods of interacting with online animated assistants.
