This spring, we invite families to join a campus tour or virtual event to explore grades 6–12 at Avenues—where world-centered learning, signature programs, and advanced pathways prepare students for exceptional college outcomes.

On a Spring Tour, you’ll see how students in grades 6–12 pursue ambitious ideas through advanced pathways, signature programs, and world-centered learning—guided by exceptional faculty and deans.

World-Centered Learning

In the Upper Division, world-centered learning comes to life through interdisciplinary study, global exchange opportunities, and international experiences that connect students’ academic work to the wider world. Students examine complex ideas from multiple perspectives—developing curiosity, cultural fluency, and awareness.

Signature Programs and Advanced Pathways

Students pursue ambitious ideas through advanced coursework and signature programs. Interdisciplinary seminars, advanced STEM, and project-based learning challenge students to think critically and explore subjects in depth. Guided by expert teachers and deans, students deepen their interests–so no two journeys are the same.

Rigor, Redefined

At Avenues, rigor is not about moving faster—it’s about thinking more deeply and across disciplines. Students are challenged to explain their thinking, revise their work, and engage with ideas that require focus and persistence. The result is not just mastery of content, but intellectual independence and confidence.
