Min joined Avenues in 2015 as global director of strategy and campus development, responsible for leading the organization’s campus investment review process, as well as steering important cross-functional team initiatives involving colleagues from education, talent, development, branding, facilities and new campus start-up teams.
In 2017, Min was promoted to vice president of people and culture, responsible for leading Avenues’ global talent team, a role she brought significant relevant experience and a proven track record of success to.
Min has amassed more than 20 years of strategy, talent and operations experience, including the past 12 in the education sector. Prior to joining Avenues, Min was the senior vice president of operations at Teach For America, responsible for supporting the training, support and development of the 4,000 new teachers who joined the corps annually. She also led the restructuring of the human resources division at the New York City Department of Education, developing human capital processes and core systems impacting more than 150,000 teachers and staff members.
Min also previously worked as a strategy consultant and financial analyst with L.E.K. Consulting and Merrill Lynch, where she advised clients on corporate strategy, M&A and portfolio management.
Min earned her B.A. from Wellesley College. The mission of Avenues is especially close to heart as she is herself the product of a global education, having grown up in seven countries in Asia, Europe and North and South America.
