In September 2012, following a two-year renovation of a historic architectural structure, Avenues opened its 25,000-square-meter campus in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. With help from the distinguished architecture and interior design firms Perkins Eastman and Bonetti/Kozerski Studio, Avenues transformed the building into one of the finest educational facilities in Manhattan. Our New York campus exemplifies a best practice approach to contemporary school design, combining the best from the fields of technology, ergonomics and sustainable design with the experience of top educators and school administrators from around the world.
Today, Avenues New York serves nearly 1,500 students from nursery through 12th grade. In 2016, Avenues began a major expansion project, which will grow its capacity to 2,100 students, making Avenues New York the largest independent school in New York City.
