The design team is overseen by Raymond C. Bordwell, AIA, chief facilities officer of Avenues. Ray is internationally recognized as an expert in the planning, design and construction of contemporary school facilities. An author, lecturer, and registered architect, Ray has 25 years of experience creating innovative and economical solutions for public, independent and international school facilities.

Prior to joining Avenues, Ray held senior leadership positions at some of the country’s top educational design firms. He created the course “Planning and Design of Public Schools” for the Office of Executive Education at Harvard University and was an instructor there for 13 years. His work has included the planning, design and construction of hundreds of projects in 13 countries and 26 states.

The firm has extensive global experience with planning and designing K-12 international schools and is among the largest and most prominent school architectural firms in the world.

Engineering and Construction Management

STV is an award-winning professional design firm offering engineering, architectural, planning and environmental services. They consistently rank among the country’s top 25 firms in educational design work. Throughout the United States, STV employs 1,700 professional, technical and support personnel. STV has worked on building and renovating hundreds of schools in New York City and is by far the city’s most prominent firm in the management of private and public school construction projects.

Bonetti/Kozerski Studio
Interior Design Consultant

Established in 2000, Bonetti / Kozerski Design Studio is led by Italian-born Enrico Bonetti and English-born Dominic Kozerski. Their unique approach to each project results in one-of-a-kind spaces that distill the essence and spirit of the individuals within. With its roots in European education, the studio merges compositional, technological, spatial, design innovation and philosophical disciplines into an overall vision.
