Alan served as publisher in the nationally recognized turnaround of Esquire magazine. He was vice chairman at Whittle Communications, where he launched over a dozen innovative publishing, interactive and broadcast properties. Alan founded his own media firm, Greenberg News Networks, building it into a leading continuing medical education and healthcare news organization, which was subsequently purchased by WebMD. He then established Travel Holdings as a global interactive travel distribution firm, which now does business in 13 languages and more than 100 countries.
Alan has a deep and wide ranging international business background, including the launch and expansion of businesses in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America; leading mergers and joint ventures in Europe and Asia; closing private equity transactions with international investors; and building a global interactive travel services firm.
