School Design Team

The Avenues school design process is being led by Ty Tingley, co-head of Avenues’ New York campus, with an internal design group that includes the division directors and other members of the headquarters staff. The school design group, in turn, directs a wide range of consultants ranging from expert teams at various universities and schools to publishers. In addition, the curriculum specialists and head teachers whom we have hired are also participating. Altogether, around 100 people will be engaged in the school design process. Sarah Bayne, director of educational design, will first work with Ty on the curriculum for Avenues: New York and then be responsible for expanding that curriculum to other Avenues campuses around the world.
