OUR PEOPLE

Susan Robinson heads all the Avenues enrollment and admissions functions. Susan earned her Ed.D. in cognitive psychology from Harvard University, her M.A. from Columbia University in special education and her B.A. from Skidmore College.

Susan brings a collegiate level leadership background in admissions, career development and academic administration to Avenues, having served as an associate provost and dean of undergraduate and graduate admissions and financial aid at Wagner College. As a member of the President’s Cabinet, Susan was responsible for developing the admissions, retention and financial aid policies for the college. Susan also served as dean of admissions and financial aid at the Moore College of Art in Philadelphia.

Susan also brings a long record of community and cultural leadership to Avenues. She served on the board of trustees of Staten Island Academy, as CEO of Staten Island’s Snug Harbor Cultural Center and as president of the Staten Island Symphony. She was also involved in parent leadership at the American School of London, where her daughter was enrolled as a middle and high school student.
